Tired!

It's been a long week and I am ready to go to sleep. We have to set our clocks an hour ahead...Ughh!! That means I am going to lose sleep! I'm soooo tired!!! Well, it's off to bed I go, goodnight everyone. (:

Rainy days and Saturdays

BRRRRRR!!!!!! It is freezing!! I just finished making some warm delicious hot chocolate. Its very cloudy outside and there is suppose to be rain today the sky is black. I hope everyone's week went well I have a 3 day weekend I'm very happy. Just thought I'd update my blog see you all soon. (:

Just Another Ordinary Week....

Well, all my cousins are back in Texas and everything is back to normal. School is keeping me busy but I just wish we could have another winter break!!! All over the East coast everyone is getting snow but here in California it's 75 degrees. Tomorrow is Thursday which means I have to run the mile in P.E....OH NO!!! Wish me luck. Sorry, I really have nothing exciting to blog about.

 Last Tuesday my great grandfather passed away, a human life is a story told by God. My grandfather was a wonderful man that lived 89 years and he will be missed. It is hard coping with a loss of a family member but we must embrace pain and use it as fuel for the journey that lays ahead. I love you great grandpa rest in peace

Fun Weekend....but let's get back to reality :(

This was a very VERY FUN weekend! On Friday I got to spend time with my friends at our dance (Hollywood  themed), we all wore coordinating shirts that spelled out "Hollywood." I got to be one of the O's. Then I slept over at a friend's house and the next day I got to hang out with some of my friends at Church. Sunday I went to church and did homework for the rest of the day but got a lot done. Now it's Monday and I had to get up bright and early this morning for zero period and then right afterwards I had to leave early and get my bottom braces put on. OUCH they hurt sooooo much! After school I went to flute and now I'm doing a whole bunch of homework. :( Can't wait for the weekend!

Empty tissues boxes, sore throat, and plugged up ears can only mean one thing....

Thursday afternoon I came home from school and started sipping a delicous cup of coke. Suddenly my throat started to feel scratchy....that meant only one thing. The next morning I woke up with a stuffed up nose and a throat that felt like I'd swallowed a knife. My mom told me I couldn't go to school but I had a math test and insisted that I had to go! So I went through the whole day of school feeling as though I was going to  collapse! As soon as I got home I fell onto the coach and then I knew I was SICK!! Saturday morning I stayed on the coach the WHOLE day!! Today I stayed home from church and shopping with my friends. :( I'm feeling MUCH better!

Back to the ole grind...

Well... sadly winter break came to an end yesterday. Today was my first day back to school and it wasn't too bad but I have A LOT of homework. It will be hard getting back into the swing of things, I am really going to miss sleeping in and enjoy being with family and friends. :( I guess like I've always said all good things must come to an end. I guess I'll just have to make the best it.
